if dubabroad comes back to rootschat you could help

Hi Dubabroad,

My aunt was from there too, she lived in either 34 or 38 coombe street.

any chance might have known the family, either Behan or O'brien?

hi michelle,do you have first names for the O'Briens
you are researching?I would be interested to know
as after about 8 or 10 years looking for mine from that
area I have come across a fair few wrong ones and kept
 note of some of them.

Hi

Seems my people lived there a bit earlier than you, dubabroad. My grandfathers first wife Mary O'brien lived in 39 Coombe Street in the late 1920's. They then moved to Prices Row, which i think is quite close to there.
They lived there until about 1940 when Mary died. His name was Joseph Behan, and he worked in C&C.

Also there in 1937 was John Drumm and Mary Drum. Do any of these names ring a bell?

Also do you remember a butchers called Hodgens on Georges Street.

Thanks for any help
