Hi, There is no stone with the surname McGrannaghan in  the Old Kilpatrick churchyard.

It may be one of the stones that are laying face down and could not be recorded or there was no stone for it to be recorded. The cemetery is next to the churchyard, so they may be buried in there. You could write to West Dunbartonshire Council Clydebank and ask them if your ancestor in in the graveyard.

Hi there John, Many thanks for looking for my McGrannaghan in the cemetery.  I had forgotten all about this post from back in 2007!  but as we know, you never give up hope of a response in genealogy  ;)

Good idea about dropping a line to the Council, I will look into that for sure.  Thanks again, your help was much appreciated.

Seeking information on ancestors buried in the Old Kilpatrick church yard cemetery .
They are Margaret Phillips (nee Neil) died 19 March 1857
David Phillips died 14 December 1858
Margaret Phillips (nee Muir) died 11 March 1862
