My husband has LOGUE ancestors, who came from Drumahoe. I am hoping to find other members of this family. I am posting the outline descendant tree so if any one has suggestions, more information, or suggestions, please reply.

Two possible deaths to start with:
Londonderry Sentinel, 22 Aug.1856: At Drumahoe, on the 18th inst., Mr. John Logue, jun., aged 39 years.
Londonderry Sentinel, 5 May 1863?- May 3, at Drumahoe, Mr. William Logue, aged 86 years.

Do you know occupations or business that Logues were involved in as there might be others not listed with Drumahoe?
Have to check through marriages in Sentinel but that takes longer since they are not indexed in alphabetical order.

7 Dec.1849- On the 4th inst., in the First Presbyterian Church of Glendermott, by the Rev. Alexander Buchanan, Mr. Joseph Loague, Drumahoe, to Mary Jane, only daughter of Mr. William Walker, Gorticaw.
3 Nov.1865- October 26, in the First Presbyterian Church, Glendermott, by the Rev. A. Buchanan, Mr. Robert Logue, of Drumahoe, to Miss Matilda Walsh, of Glebes.

Thank you very much, I think this one could very well be the William LOGUE born Abt 1776 Drumahoe, Derry, son of Joseph LOGUE.

Yes, I can tell you that Joseph Keys LOGUE b 1798 was a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin and was a schoolmaster in both Strabane and Drumahoe - I have a record which says he also taught school in Londonderry during the winter, when he would visit his students. Joseph emigrated to Western Australia in 1837, taking his wife and family with him.
Also, the 1796 Flaxgrowers List has Major LOGUE Glendermot Parish, Londonderry County, 3 wheels and John LOGUE Glendermot Parish, Londonderry County, 3 wheels, so that gives an indication of what they were doing. These would have been I think the Major LOGUE b abt 1774 and John LOGUE b abt 1772.

Not sure about the rest of the family's occupations though,

My Grandmother had a sister called Mary Logue but she was born 1922 in Derry.

The Mary Logue born 1915 was a possibility. It could be an earlier child called Mary died and the same name was given to a later child in the family. Remember that births less than 100 years old will not appear in GRONI's online database.
