My Mum always told me she thought her grandparents owned the Lletty at some time.......... Something else for me to-do list

I do know her grandfather was the licensee of the Swan Inn Greenfield in 1917.

I spend most of my weekends in The Lletty with my Grandad when i was a proper boy. Being 22 i aint much older than a pup but the memories will stay. I remember my Grandad used to get that drunk in the afternoon on the winter nights he had to follow my light-up trainers up the lletty hill haha.
The Lletty has been opening and shutting a great deal the last few years but is running well at this present moment.

phil100652  I'm trying to trace who the owners of the Lletty in 1841-1871 as I am helping my friend trace her family who seemed to run the Inn between this time!! The info you have would be helpful to add to her file so I would be very grateful of a copy of this as it may give us some insight as to whether they owned the pub or just ran it!!

Thanks J.J. I noticed those pics as we were trawling the net and wondered why that person was so interested in The Lletty myself!!
We went to the Records office in Mold and Hawarden on Thursday but no info on the owners of the building I'm afraid, though the staff were brilliant!!
Plus we were also looking for burial records and apparently lots of those got lost too so we ended up traipsing around the cemetaries of the area but to no avail!!
Ahhh well... at least we got a day out!!

Hi, found this while surfing the net, I am interested in the Lletty Hotel I believe that James Thomson and his wife Henrietta were publicans there around 1883-85 when two of their children were born. have found them mentioned as publicans on their birth record was wondering if anyone had any further info on this
