Bath Hotel
« on: Friday 05 October 07 11:12 BST (UK) »
Hello everyone.

I have details of a marriage in my family
at the Bath Hotel, Glasgow in 1919.

Can someone please tell me if it was known by another name then
and, if possible, the address of where it is/was situated.
If anyone knows where I would be able to find any photos anywhere, that
would be great.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks
Raylen

I live in Glasgow and guessed it would be in Bath Street.
There may be other photos and if I find any I'll send you the link.

I've been trying to find The Bath Hotel too  :) My Grandparents were married here in 1890  :)

The Bath Hotel was located in Argyle Street, between Wellington St., and West Campbell.
I seem to recall that it ceased trading as a hotel during the 1970's and lay disused for a long period of time.
Looking at the site on Streetview, it appears to have been resurrected as the "Alexander Thomson Hotel", 320 Argyle Street, Glasgow, G2 8LY.

Regards
Istrice

Interesting Istrice.  I need to check that out.

I think you're wrong, but it needs checking.
