Argentina.......... help please

I have a Walter Wilfred LOWE born West Derby Lancs in 1861, a Tinman/Stationers Assistant who goes to Argentina after the 1881 census.

He arrives back in Liverpool in time for the 1901 census and is married to Alma SCHAUB (an American) and has 4 children born in Rosario Argentina. The eldest, William, is born 1889.

I can't find a marriage record for him before he leaves the UK, so I am assuming that he marries in Argentina. Alma is his second wife.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It would be great to find out when he originally left the UK and who and when he married.

Have you tried looking at sources for Argentina on www.cyndislist.com? (although I suspect there won't be much online and you would really nee names, dates, etc. to order a marriage certificate)

Thank you . So far no luck, and Jeremy Howat specifically has information from Rosario, but nothing of my people.
