Margaret Deans & Quarrie Family of yeltholm

Hi,
     can anyone help me find the parents, or any information on Margaret Deans of Yeltholm please, she was born ab:
1784  and married James Quarry/Quarrie,
   I am also looking for the Quarry/Quarrie family in Scotland, James was also born ab: 178I am also wondering if their name may have originally been McQuarry/McQuarrie
any help appreciated

Hello Jenny,
Just been on to the IGI (www.familysearch.org.uk).

Go to the 'search' tab and enter the parents names only and click 'search'- brings up 7 children (it'll actually say IGI/British Isles and indicate 11, but 3 are duplicate entries). You'll see the first 3 born in Southdean, Roxburgh, Scotland.  The remaining 4 on the Isle of Man.  Possibly yours?  I'd reckon yes.

Further search identifies James Quarry being born on 28 March 1784 to John Quarry and Mary Scott.    John Quarry was born in Yetholm in 1758.  He married Mary Scott on 21 Feb 1783.
When you gto the IGI you'll see there is a 2nd John Quarry b 16 Mar 1755 - but he's not linked to Mary.

My scribbled notes have Margaret Deans being born 05 Sept 1784 in Yetholm and christened 05 Sept 1784 in Eckford - which is 7 to 8 miles to the west of Yetholm - possibly transcription errors?  Only has a fathers name entered ? William Deans.

Have tried searching on Scotlands People for deaths of both Margaret and James - after 1855 - no success.  However - noting that their last children? were born on the Isle of Man ? - they could have died outwith Scotland.

These are the only references to Quarry in the  Yetholm M.I.'s, may be of some use.

Erected by James Quarry to the memory of John Quarry his father who died 29.1.1852 aged 61 years and of Isabella Quarry his sister who died 9.3.1856 aged 20 years also Ellen Strachan wife of the above John Quarry died 3.3.1885 aged 87 years also of George Quarry their son who died 9.1.1892 aged 64 years.

Erected in the memory of Thomas White fewer in Town Yetholm who died 28.3.1858 aged 66 years also Agnes Quarry his wife who died 6.8.1876 aged 81 years  Andrew White their son who died 22.12.1893 aged 74 years.
