Perhaps I can help, folks, or perhaps we can help each other? I think Margaret McAllister who married John Pender is the sister of my great great grandfather Alexander McAllister. The parents were Angus McAllister and Isabella Young. I can't find much about them but I know lots about Alexander and have researched Margaret too.  I would be happy to share any details I have. Lanarkshire Lass, I'm a Lanarkshire Lad born and bred. Roots are Monklands, Holytown,  Motherwell and Bellshill.

Best regards,

Tom.
