Hello again Kath, I hope your FEWELLs are going well.

You might think I had no more surnames to ask about, but I have found a new one, I think. Please could you see what you have for COLLARD?

Many thanks,

Edwina

Just to let you know Collard was a very Prominent name in Barnston (William Collard built the house called Albans in Barnston) (another Gentleman to go with your Sorrell's) so if you want info and belive me there is a lot in Barnston (even down to who is buried with who in the family graves) post on the Barnston threads  and i'll dig it all up for you ;D

Elizabeth daughter of Simon & Mary Collard 28/2/1748( looked at GW marriaged and Simon Colard married Mary Eddes 21/1/1739)
Susanna daughter of Simon & MAry Collard 4/8/1754
Mary daughter of Joseph & Mary Collard 12/4/1761 (looked at the GW marriages and Joseph Collard of Little Leighs married Mary Wright 6/10/1760)
Anne daughter of Simon & Mary Collard 11/3/1764

:) Thank you Kath. It was Susanna COLLARD I was interested in, and she is there. I think she is probably mine but I don't know yet. If the christenings from 1782 to 1813 ever come up, I am hoping my 3xgtgrandmother Susanna POULTEN / POULTON might turn out to be the child of John POULTON m. Susanna COLLARD. She was born about 1790, I think. I was checking the COLLARDs now in advance.

Thanks for the advice about the Barnston COLLARDs. I'll post a request in the morning. You are asking for more work!!  :-\

Bad luck with the FEWELLs. It is an unusual name.

Edwina

Would love to hear about the Revel(l)s when you have time. A clutch of them appeared in Ireland and I am trying to find out from whence they came.

Thank you.

Beth
