I was interested to read your post as i too have just found my German ancestors, one of which is Frederick Deschlein who followed your ancestor into bookbinding! I was wondering if you know how to find out where in Germany he was born as i have got as far back as John Martin Deschlein 1747? London (Frederick's father.) It would be interesting to hear from you.
