Thanks both!
I am really trying to find the births of Margaret, William and Richard.

On the 1841 census in SP, it states that Margaret was 2 mths and there is a 'Yes' for born in county.

John and Joseph have a 'No', because they were born in Tynemouth, Northumberland.

I am still struggling with this problem! ??? Have found a William Kay birth 9/12/1829 and a John Kay birth 27/4/1838, both with the same parents - William Kay and Helen Anderson, also both Duddingstone.
Any ideas?

Dear Kooky,
I think (and hope) that we may be related. In your postings you mention that Joseph Kay b Newcastle upon Tyne in 1821 is your great great grandfather. He is also mine!
My line descends from Joseph's son William b Burslem 1845 then to William Henry b Tutbury 1864 and then to my mother Gladys Maud Kay b 1905 in Wordsley in Staffordshire. Joseph, William and William Henry were all glassblowers.
I would be most interested to learn if there is any connection between us and if you can provide any further information on the Kays. I have done quite a bit of research on my family tree on Ancestry and have now added John and Margaret as Joseph's parents thanks to your efforts. Have you been able to go back any further back from them and from Ann Bremner's parents?

I need to ascertain where all the info is, and then I will have a look and get back to you.
I am busy this week, we are having a family Easter and I must prepare for 4 guests.
After Easter I will do this!

Dear Kooky,
Yes, no problem for you to access my Ancestry tree. I am not sure how you do this. The tree is called Bullock Family Tree and I think that I can invite you to share, but would need your email address. As you are busy in the run up to Easter, I will wait to hear from you - there is no rush! Kind regards.
