« on: Tuesday 06 November 07 18:37 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I don't seem to be able to find Pencarreg in the 1861 census- is it missing or has it another name? OK in all others.

Tony
My ggg grand father's names are Wardroper Reah Hillyard Thompson Sillick Druery Duxfield Heads Blacklock Richley Coulsen Riddle Scott Brown Dent - mostly from N.E.

Hi Tony,

Pencarreg is listed as being incomplete on the 1861 census :(

I found this by entering Pencarreg 1861 on Google, I wish it was better news for you. This is the link to the findmypast page.

Hi and thanks

I think I need to get an equivalent list for all the other census dates as well. Certainly could explain some strange gaps.

Hello Tony

I found a way to Pencarreg on the 1861 census but it's rather hard to explain.
If you give me the name and information for your search, I will try to get you a reference number.

Thanks for the offer.

The list is rather long but only relates to one set of parents and their children. If possible I would like address and occupation plus name, dob and occupation for any others living with them.

Herbert Emlyn Jones (1823 Cellan) married to Elizabeth Evans (abt 1823 Pencarreg)

David Jones (abt 1793 Pencarreg) married to Hannah Jones (abt 1799 Llangiby, Cardiganshire)

Benjamin Jones (abt 1815 Pencarreg) married to Mary (abt 1825 Pencarreg)

Mary Jones (abt 1826 Pencarreg)

Hannay Jones (abt 1829 Pencarreg) - may already have marrried as not in 1851c

Rachel Jones (abt 1830 Pencarreg) - may already have marrried as not in 1851c

David Jones (abt 1833 Pencarreg) married to Anne (abt 1836 Trevilan)

Evan Jones (abt 1834 Pencarreg).

Many thanks

Tony
