I found this in the 1851 Index of Bethnal green

HO 107/1540 folio 85

Henry Leadbitter aged 39

No-one else of that name at the same reference.

Also found in Whitechapel HO 107/1546 folio 59
Leadbeater
Ellen aged 25
George aged 3
James age 1
Matthew aged 37

Don't know if any of these are yours but as you say it is an unusual name.

There is no-one of that name in Shoreditch of St George in the East

Someone ill hopefully look up the references for you.  If they don't then ask again on the LONDON board

I can look up the 1861 Census of London if you give me a street name (from a BMD Certificate, previous or later census, or a Directory) - as the 1861 is mainly street indexed.

Or you could ask for a lookup in the partial 1861 Index online as some have a paid subscription to it. It is indexed by name and age only.  From that you would get the Piece & Folio / Page numbers (if found) - then I can look them up.

PAVIOUR (looking for Phineas PAVIOUR, cutler, parent & landowner in 1750s Birmingham),
HAUGHTON, LAMB, PALMER - in Birmingham.
PATON - LKS, WALKER - Cumbernauld DNB, Scotland.
SMITH - Shoreditch, Strand, & Kingsland Rd, London.
WILKINS - Kenn, SOM & Chertsey, SRY.
BUTLER, COLBURNE, EAGAR, HARRISON -Gorey, WEX,
