What was the philately connection?

I am doing reseasrch on Joseph Ades Fowler and his son Henry Ades as an interest in philately (stamps).  I am trying to find a) Joseph's 1st wife's death Mary Heathcote Green and b) where and when his 2nd marriage to Mary Thompson.  Interesting to note Joseph's tombstone is dedicated by his 5 children.

If you are looking for Henry's origins, his marriage cert should give his father's name and occupation. I see it was just after civil registration started and Ancestry appears to have the parish register image. You could also find witnesses were family members.
