Images of 1900 Cen., WWII draft cards, OH & GA death certificates, etc.

familysearch.org has a new section with some great stuff.  It's free, but you just have to sign up.  http://labs.familysearch.org/   It has images of some of the 1900 Census, Ohio death certificates for 1908-1953, Georgia death certificates from 1914-1927, Utah death certificates (which I think were already online) from 1904-1956, World War II Draft Registration Cards for about 9 states, and a few other things.  It's definitely worth checking out.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

Shellyesq- what perfect timing! Just starting to sort out Ohio branch of family and hopefully the death certificates on the site will sort out a few mysterious (at least to me) deaths.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Update- have put in grandfather's surname and over 3000 records showed up! Some of them are indexed twice (under father's name & then child's name for example) but I'm going through the list taking pages of notes.
Just set my own scanner up again and decided to scan some old photos for my mother's Christmas present and found a set taken in Ohio in 1931 which included my great-grandfather's aunt then aged 90 with her name, etc. so I'm now off to track her branch of the family.

It says now that the images are unavailable until they complete the expansion of the system capabilities, but the indexes are still there.  I wish I could see the certificates, because the transcriptions definitely aren't perfect.  I found a Frank listed as Frant.   :-\  Granted, the handwriting was a bit weird, but Frant?  On the plus side, I did find the death certificates of two of my great-grandfather's brothers, one of the brothers' wives, and my great-great-grandmother.  Now, I have the names of great-great-grandmother's parents, which I didn't have before.

Yes shellyesq, some of the transcriptions are quite interesting and unusual- found the surname I was looking for spelled about 25 different ways- luckily I knew who I was looking for, although there were some people that I couldn't find at all who should have been in there.
Funny enough one transcription that I thought was totally wrong was actually copying what had been written on the certificate so it is important to look at the actual original record.
