My Grandmother was a younger sister of Ada Emma Lynch

Hi plainjane

I take it that Rosina is the one on the right. Caroline Tedham's daughter Harriett was my Gx2 grandmother. What was the website called that you got the photo from?

Thank you for sharing the photo with me as I have not been fortunate in obtaining any photos of my family.

Hi Paula
Rosina is the one on the right
Harriet must have been a sister of Selina Piper my GT Gt Grandmother

The photo/photos are on The Burrell family Surrey website but the information is incorrect in naming Rosina as Mary King as she died much earlier also the baby is named as Ada Daisy my Gt Aunts daughter born in 1900 but that is also incorrect
My Gt Aunt was born in 1874-1950 Mother Frances 1851-1918 Selina Piper 1828-1909  Caroline 1810-1902 Rosina 1788-1877
Photograph taken 1874/5 so all were alive then

Hi plainjane,

If the website names her as Mary King, how do you know that it is Rosina Tedham nee Russell?

Hi Paula
My brother & another relative who have researched the Balchin family history
which I am part of have copies of Mary kings death certificate & she had died at the age of 54
I was in my 10th year when my Gt Aunt Ada Emma Lynch nee Worsfold died & I remember discussing the family photograph with her & she definitely was the baby in the photograph not her daughter Ada Daisy as the Burrell website suggests
Contact the Balchin family through the website
Its frustrating I cannot give you a name here
But I maintain the people in the photograph are baby Ada Emma Lynch nee Worsfold  Mother Frances Worsfold nee Balchin holding Ada Emma
Grandmother Selina Balchin nee Piper ,Standing
Caroline Piper nee Tedham seated left & Rosina Tedham nee Russell seated right

Mary (plainjane)

Hi Paula,
My Great 4x grand mother was Rosina Tedham her eldest daugher Maria married my great 3 x grandfather Samuel Beeney. Maria doesn,t seem to be on the Tedham family trees. Do you have all of Rosina's children with Maria on your tree. I will have to look up her christening date.
Thanks Michael.
