Nicholas begins by saying "I being sick and weak but in good memory do make my last Will and Testament   Item I make my wife Elizabeth my whole executor  Item I give to Hannah my eldest daught fifteen pounds  Item I give to my daughter Mary 15  --00--00 Item I give to my son John 15---00---00

The Latin part shows when probate was granted after Nicholas' death.  Sorry I can't translate.
Added:  But it was on the nineteenth of September 1707 (decimo nono Septembris Anno Dni 1707)

Hi JAP, yes I can see 'remaine' now you have pointed it out.   I was trying to make it into 'revert',  but left it out in the end as it didn't quite work.

Thanks for the Bargain explanation , Tidybooks - I was wondering about that too.

Jap, Tom and Gallium,

Your help much appreciated.  Not knowing too much about rural 18th Cenrtury life I was pleased to find that I did know what a bargain was.  Apart from finding a wonderful pair of shoes at a bargain price in the right size!

I also think a 'messuage' is a bargain,
