Surname interest WALSH Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan

I am very new to this site so I hope I have posted this right.
Looking for WALSH, Merthyr Tydfil. James 1835, Mary1837 and children Mary 1862, Thomas 1864, Richard 1866, John 1868, James 1871, Elizabeth 1873 and Sarah A. 1876.
James jnr moved onto Whickham Durham and married the name was then spelt WELSH. 1901 changed to WELCH. James snr and wife Mary were born in Kilkenny, Ireland. I have found them all on 1871, (1881 Spelt WELSH) and 1891 census but now looking for marriages and deaths. Any help would be appreciated.

Now here's a coincidence!! To my post question above.
In 1861 WALSH family are: James and Mary both born 1835 in Kilkenny, Ireland and have a son John born 1861 in Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan.

My WALSH family are: James b1835 and Mary b1837 both in Kilkenny, Ireland and they have a daughter Mary b1861 in Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan.

Is there possibly another Walsh/Welsh family  on the 1861 census which corresponds with mine and possibly address.
This has got to be an amazing coincidence.

This family in 1861 is the nearest match I could find - distinct liklihood they are yours.

The son John was 10 months old in 1861 which means he was probably born 1860. Chances are he didn't survive and that's why he doesn't appear on future census. Infant mortality rate in Merthyr was one of the highest in the UK at that time.

As I said - no sign of James and his parents et al in 1841 but there is this family that could be related?
