DYSART in Burt and CHAMBERS in Taughboyne
« on: Friday 31 December 04 17:54 GMT (UK) »
I have a lot of info on the DYSARTs in Carnamaddy in Burt but would like to connect them to the merchant DYSARTs in Londonderry. Any info gladly received.

I also have CHAMBERS in Drummucklagh and Brockagh in Taughboyne parish.  My branch -Archibald Chambers- moved to Tyrone prior to Griffiths.  Nearly all his children were baptised in Ballylennon Pres church.  Again would be glad to hear from anyone researching these Chambers.

Good Morning Rachel,

This site shows Joseph Dysart of Burt and Joseph Dysart of Moville in 1857 when Griffiths Valuation was conducted in the county. http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php You may also check the Dysarts and Chambers family. Have you any idea to what part of Co. Tyrone the Chambers family went when the moved from Donegal. I was at school with a boy named Chambers whose family came from Fintona. He now lives on the outskirts of Omagh.

Good Luck with your research, Christopher

Hi Rachel,

Are you still researching the CHAMBERS family from Taughboyne, Donegal, Ireland?

I saw an earlier post on Rootsweb and tried to send you an e-mail, but it came back rejected.

Kind Regards

Hello Shelley,

Welcome to RootsChat.

I am sorry but we were unable to notify RachelD of your reply because it looks like she turned off all emails back in 2005. :'(

Kind Regards
Sarah
