I read the details about the Rev. Owen Lewis with a lot of interest since I am a direct descendant of his. Just out of curiosity, are any of the other contributors to this 'thread' family members?

Hello, I just read this thread and I was wondering if anyone knows where Llanddeusant parish church is? I have a lot of ancestors from that area and I believe they were also buried there.  Welsh Lady if I gave you some names could you ask your contact to have a look at the burial records for me? :-\  hope im not being too rude in asking....

Kind regards
Duke :)

John Harries (b.1814) was, I believe, from Penlannau, Llanddeusant. Again, I am quite sure that he moved to Cilgerran, near Cardigan & has descendants living in Aberporth today.

My great great grandfather was Harry Harries... I know so little about his life and am curious as you have him as John and I wonder if Harry was a middle name!
