« on: Friday 30 November 07 12:28 GMT (UK) »
Hello All,
Does anyone have a marriage for a Francis Armstrong born Halgreen, Canonbie in 1759? He was the son of John & Mary (nee Turner).
Also, any children listed for him?
Thanks,
Bob

Thanks Celticmoon1961,
I've been in touch with two directly related Armstrongs via that family: one is in Scotland, the other in Canada.  I can put you in touch with them if you wish. If so, let me know in your reply & we can exchange email addresses via this forum's Private Message system
Cheers,
Bob
PS Thanks Annie, I'm still 'on the right side of the grass!'

That would be great thanks. Have you got any further back than Francis. I have a dirrect ancestor of his named John Armstrong and born in Canonbie in C1680 and I just cant find anything about him other than the names of his wife and children, nothing further back and it is driving me mad.
Thanks
Allyson
