Looking for further info on Patrick Langford b1842? in Killiney? Co Kerry, and details of any siblings.  Parents - Michael & Margaret (O'Carroll) married 1840?

Any info and/or advice on where I can search would be greatfully received.

Hi Lieza

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Hi again

No more luck on finding Patrick Langford (b 1842) - I am trying to find him on a ship to Aust - death cert (1919) states he was in Victoria for 50 years which would have him arriving around 1869 - but there is a discrepancy in the age at death compared to the age at marriage (of 7 years) which could mean arrival anywhere between 1862-69.  Also, I can only guess he went straight to Vic - he may have arrived elsewhere in Aust and moved to Vic later.  Bit of a needle in a haystack really!!  Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Lieza

Could Killiney be Killarney in Kerry? I don't know of any Killiney in Kerry but Killiney in Dublin, yes. Maybe try looking for him in Killarney? Good luck!

Lieza, I've found a Killiney for you in Kerry. follow this link and you can have a look at a transcript of the 1901 census for the area (it is in Corkaguiny barony). http://www.rootsweb.com/~irlker/cenkill.html. Good luck with this!
