my gt. gt. aunt margaret jeremiah nee ralph born in talgarth brecon1814 was living in pontypridd area in 1841 census. married here in 1846  trying to find parents fathers name is thomas ralph he was a butcher in 1846 mothers name unknown does anyone have the 1841 census talgarth area to find thomas and wife.

All I have been able to find out about their holdings so far is:

The library hold copies of most Breconshire Census Returns 1841 to 1891.

Hi Kazza.
               Iwould appreciate it if you could take a look at the 1841 census talgarth area.the only info i can give you is that his name is thomas ralph and that he was a butcher that was in the year 1846 when his daughter got married down in pontypridd i hope he was a butcher in 1841 census or otherwise im butchered sorry i cant give you any more info.

Not sure what day I will be going yet,  probably several times though   and will report my findings here for you.

The butchery angle might proove useful,  I know they do have several of the local trade directories in the library,  but not sure of years,  I will check them too.

As I was unsucessful with the '41,  and I have been given the '51 on disk I took a look on the offchance.

There ar 2 Thomas Ralphs,  neither look promising sorry.
