Hi Tati  ;D
Indeed you could ! I couldn't for the life of me  8), but now you say - it is of course, clearly Musician! A singing House painter! Marvelous !

Seems as if Irene Nora sprang from a large family...
Her grandparents married 1874:

If you search all MASSARELLA, Dorset 1871 to 1930 - there are oodles, starting with the 1874 marrriage and all Poole and Weymouth. No doubt all would track back to Joseph MASSARELLA the Italian Housepainter.

Cheers

Iasha, it appears that Joseph MASSARELLA and his wife had abt 10 children.

Do you want us to find and post up the Census for him in 1881 and 1891 also?

While fellow RootsChatters have been delving into the past, I have been looking at the present (makes a change!)

You may be linked somewhere along the line to these Massarellas???

The massarella catering Company is a multi million pound business with over 200 restaurants in the UK
In 1860 on their way from Setterfratte in Italy to build new lives in America, Giovanni Massarella and his three brothers arrived in England. So taken were they by S Yorks they decided to abandon their journey and settle there instead. Over the next 100 years the family established a substantial ice cream business and didtributed their products in the Midlands and North of England. They beecame the largest ice cream manufacturrs in Europe. The company was sold in the 1950's -and now there is the massarella Catering Group.

Poole Pottery -Living Glaze 1990-present
one off studo pieces designed by Nicola Massarella.

President of the British Show Jumping Association -R. Massarella

There is also a mrs Massarella involved with Faith and Humanist Groups and Community Services in Bournmouth and Poole.
