Mountsnaught Fetteresso
« on: Saturday 15 December 07 12:39 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone tell me if, in my searching, I have found one farm with different spellings or is it just the one farm?  The farm belonged to William Garden in 1861.  William Garden lived at

Mountsnaught, Cookney in 1861 (farmer of 60 acres)
Mountmaugh, Cookney in 1871(farmer of 102 acres)
Mount Naught, Cookney in 1879
Montonaught, Cookney in 1881 (farmer of 120 acres)

Thank you

The same farm with different spellings.  The present day spelling is Montsnaught.  Go to Get a Map and enter the postcode AB39 3RB in the search box.
