Errigal Parish (Co. Londonderry) "Another name for this parish is called Arrigle which is in the townland of Coleraine. It has a capacity of 5401 people. A monastery that was built there was founded in 589 AD by a leader called St. Columb, it remained that way for at least 400 years until a force from Denmark conquered it into ruins."
About 12 or so miles from the town (not townland) of Coleraine and I'm not sure if 'Arrigle' was used locally...

Other parishes have equally strange details  ::)
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
