Hello

Hope you don't mind my jumping in, just wanted to thank Cheshire Mog for the link and interesting info - my great grandfather Charles Moreton was born in Greenhil Lane in 1867 and it was great to see that lane.

Thank you

Crystal

That would be brilliant Cheshiremog. It would be nice to see the difference between then and now.  Thanks very much.

Thankyou from me too!

Some of my family were born in Greenhill Lane and this had foxed me, I didn't know where it was (not helped by the fact that there is a different road of that  name close to where I live!)

Thanks Mog for posting these photos. My gg grandfather is recorded as  living in Green Hill Lane on his marriage certificate when he married in 1843.

He was a labourer so no link to the mines, but it is very satisfying to have a photo of the street

I have a family member born in Greenhill lane November 5th, 1836. William George Bradley. His Father was also William born 1791 death in 1848. His mother Mary Bradley 1793-1876. I love researching my history and would really enjoy any info.
