Hi,
I cannot give any detail of his baptism but on his marriage certificate his father's name is given as George Frank Despard.

Thank you  :)

That's very helpful.

Does he have an occupation?

There are a number of deeds will etc. relating to Despard mainly in Co Laois on this index. The documents are held by the Genealogical Society of Ireland in their archives in Dun Laoghaire. there are also some Despard family papers not in the index.

I am interested in this gentleman.
Does anyone know when and where (in Queens County) he was baptised or who his parents were?

If you haven't got it already marriage cert shows George's father as George Frank Despard gentleman and the father of Anna Sarah as Audrey Fitzsimmons Clerk.
There is also a birth record for George Despard 12 Aug 1875 address Killmalogue Cloneygowan Co. Laois with father George F Despard subconstable in RIC that appears to match.

Sorry, I've not been online for a while.

Thank you for the link to the Laois records - so many DESPARDS! They will take some time to sort out.

Many thanks for the baptism details of George Frank Falkiner DESPARD.  I've been hunting for that for ages.  :)

Great to have George Franks occupation at last.

You've filled in so many gaps
