Hi Frank
I have William's death certificate for 18 Dec 1862 and it gives his father as Donald Miller, weaver. I know it's the right person as it gives William's wife as Anne Bain. No mother's name was given. Information was given by James, his son.
Cheers
Sue

Don
this is great it confirms some of my research and adds quite a bit I didn't know. I'm happy to share any of my research, so if you want details of my side of the family I'm very happy to share, just let me know what you want to know. I would be interested in knowing who your great grndmother married etc.
Best wishes
Sue
