Convicted at Brecon 18c
« on: Saturday 12 January 08 11:18 GMT (UK) »
I have found a record of a William Taylor, a tailor of Wexham found guilty of theft of cloth from the shop of Samual Thomas  on 23 Dec 1739.
Punishment was death  :o :o  but he was pardoned and transported for 14 years.
Does any one know  if there are any more records locally that may give more information about this. ???
Thanks,
