Marriage Certificate Query???

Hi....Can anyone tell me if there would be marriage certificates for all marriages in Guernsey in 1854.........I have info for a marriage for Leonard Bramwell to Mary Ann Blatchford 12th March 1854.Town Church..
Can i get a copy of the certificate or would the info only be available from the Church ??
(Recently found Leonard's father's death in St Peter port.....Church verified but not officially registered..hence my query for the marriage)
