BDM TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

http://www.jaunay.com/transcription.html
Adelaide Proformat has been providing a transcription service for SA BDM certificates since mid 1994.
The transcription is produced in the same format as the original and contains everything written and printed on the certificate plus sourcing details and explanatory notes if necessary.  Order may be made by credit card, direct debit or paypal using a secure order form on the website.
https://www.jaunay.com/secure/bdmform-secure.html

http://www.saghs.org.au/research.htm#transcription
To use this service, please complete the downloadable Transcription Request Form available on the website, and mail it to the Research Service. They accept payment by personal or bank cheque, money order or credit card. The Society will record the information it holds on the particular entry or entries and forward the results by email or post.  The date range of Certificates varies for each District.

Cheers
Cando

ONLINE SHIPPING PASSENGER INDEX 1845-1886

Kris has kindly linked the South Australian Archives on the first post on this thread - and there is a searchable index for passengers arriving in South Australia in the above years - you can search by passenger name or ship.

This search is limited to GRG35/48/1 Official Passenger Lists of Emigrants Selected by the Colonization Commissioners 1845-1886

http://www.archives.sa.gov.au/
> Search Collection - top left of page
> Searching - menu bar left of page
> Passenger list search - menu bar left of page

Enter the word AND between the given name and surname of the passenger.

Cheers
cando

South Australian Integrated Land Information System
« Reply #8 on: Friday 06 January 17 01:54 GMT (UK) »
South Australian Integrated Land Information System (SAILIS), includes "historical name index of ownership" from 1858 to 1975 and historical search by address. Not the most user friendly system but better than nothing. The historical name index seems more land transfers, than point in time ownership. The search by address doesn't seem to go back far (eg early 1970s). [www.sailis.sa.gov.au]
