Birth/Baptism Lu Requests - GUEST - Clare/Bury c 1782-1809
« on: Tuesday 05 February 08 16:12 GMT (UK) »
I'm now going to have to ask for lookups on the baptisms for the parents of

Quote
Charles Guest, 4/12/1794, Bury St. Edmunds, St. Mary - infant

I'm guessing this will be a child of Charles Guest and Ann Cansdale, though it could be one of Charle's brothers, George or John.

Amelia Guest, 4/11/1809, Clare - infant
If she is of Charles Guest and Susannah Ince, then she's must be a twin of Frederick William.  Not a great history of twins in the Guests, so maybe a daughter of George or John?

Frances Guest, 2/4/1794, BSE St. Mary - infant

Frances Ann Guest, 5/9/1809 - BSE St. Mary - infant
Not obvious whose children these are at the moment.

Quote
Henry Guest, 11/8/1782, BSE St. Mary - aged not known

Joseph Guest, 9/5/1801, BSE St. Mary - aged 22yrs.
These two were probably children of Ralph Guest and Sarah Prick.

I'll remove the completed from this thread I think!

I've checked the IGI and none of the above have baptisms listed there.

Aha!  That must be Charles' sister, born 23 May 1774, bapt 17 Apr 1775.

Hi Aulus

You could try contacting the volunteer offering lookups for Clare at the Suffolk Surnames List.
