Port Isaac mariner - Thomas BROWN
« on: Saturday 09 February 08 00:38 GMT (UK) »
Hello

Can anybody shed any light on an ancestor of mine, please? His name was Thomas Brown (born 1842 in Port Isaac, Cornwall) and census records list him as being a Master Mariner. I have established that he and his wife Jane moved via Somerset to Cardiff in the 1870's. Their son, Nicholas, was the father of my great grandmother, Elsie Jane Brown, born 1898.

Thomas and Jane's other children were Williams, Jessie, Albert, John, Louisa, Horace, Minnie and Mary.

Any assistance would be gratefully received.

Thanks.

HI
What info do you need? Do you have them in the 1841, 1851, 1861 census?
Are you after Thomas' ancestors/siblings
Bye
Althea
