Newtown school near Poole in Dorset

Can anyone tell me about what type of school Newtown was in the years 1876 to 1880?

Anything thing about the school would be interesting as I don't know anything than what's here!

What is the school called now ?  I live in Newtown area and I haven't heard of a Newtown school.  Oakdale School is not that old.  Are you referring to an old Church school ?  Most schools were next to Churches in your time frame.  St Georges ? St Marys ?.  I have often thought that it would be fantastic if we could access old school registers records.  My friend found a long lost brother through South Rd School registers.
