Sorry - open internet explorer in another window.
so - you will have this one open,
go down to your bottom toolbar and click on the E (for internet explorer) and it will reopen in a new window - you can then just go from one to the other without 'loosing' what you were doing.
Still clear as mud??

hold the shift key down, when you click on a link !!!

This automatically opens a new window !

this seems to be a general thing, which works on links anywhere - Google, RootsChat (useful for checking "unread posts since your last visit", looking at search result links, without losing the search results page, etc)
