I have not been able to find any more information on the McCurtain that emigrated to the United States, Charles McCurtain 1770-1796 (alternate spellings Mac Curtain, Mac Curtaine, Mac Curtin), he married Mary Odgen in 1792 in England, and had two children with Mary in Kentucky, USA, Margaret W. (Peggy) McCurtain and John Alexander McCurtain, before dying at a very young age. His widow Mary ended up remarrying  a Felix Rock in Logan, Ohio.

Charles' wife Mary Odgen was born on June 10, 1773 in England to Mary Ogden and John Ogden. She was baptized 2 July 1773 in Manchester, Lancashire, England.
