Thank you Christopher, that is a really good site ,I did a quick booksearch with no luck, but I see they have a collection of all differant types of books &  services to make enquirers from so I shall do that as I have the ISBN number. But  even if I do not find it, I just know I am going to find other books I am after. You know Christopher my family will not let me go into real bookshops, so online bookshops have become my secret weakness & this one you have let me find is going to be WOW-WOW Cheers

Have you checked to see if the publisher, Wellbrook Press in Kilkenney, is still operating?

Hi folks, sadly I now know this book is out of print ,I've been told that Moate library has a copy of his book (how true that is I don't know.) But now  the great news is, any one looking for this survey can look it up on the IFHF site.Shane has put details on a post for Westmeath records/census so you can find the details from there , I have had a look at some of the records which have been good, but you may find you have to do your homework on finding out where some of the places actually are as they are not named  on todays maps + the spelling's can be very differant,to my surprise some of the place names are as far as Horseleap, regards Nipy

I am also looking for a copy of this book. I just had it in my hot little hands while visiting the Dun na Si Heritage Centre in Moate while researching my family in Rosemount.I just did a Google search and found that it is on Amazon - used - for $375. I was ready to pay. But can't do THAT much. Good luck! I see your post is from 2008. WOnder if you will even see this response now that it is 2015! :)
