My Wife lived at number 42 for many years, but does not reconise the name.
I have been looking for a photograph but not found one.

Hello
Thank you for your reply.  I have some documents that linking my Grandfather and mother  William Henry Griffiths married to Sarah Ann Griffiths living at 41 John St must be 1930. Maybe you could know  myGrandmothers maiden name Sarah Ann Watson they lived in the same street father Charles Watson.

My Auntie Jean Liversey ran the Park Tavern pub. Just for interest I found out it was the most densly populated area in Derby.

Cheers
GRant

One of my rellies, Richard Dexter and his wife Emma lived at 44 John Street in 1901 (Richard had also been boarding there in 1891).  The Baldwin branch of the family, were at 52 John Street in 1891 and 1901.  More of "my" Baldwins were at 88 John Street in 1881.
