No, as you said, it doesn't fit in with my timescale. Interesting reading though. What's in a name like "Girzel"? Where does this originate from?

Where exactly is Inch Churchyard please?

Judy

[Girzel is as it is in the MI inscriptions for Inch Churchyard, Grizel I have heard of, perhaps the engraver back then couldn't spell!)

Hi
I'm looking for burials for Ritchie or Stafford in Inch.  In particular a female Stafford buried around 1835-40 who may have been the mother of a MaryStafford/Ritchie, daughter of Colin Ritchie (junior) .  She would have been very young and unmarried I think, and may have been called Mary.  All the Stafford family moved to the Isle of Man between Mary's birth in 1837 and the 1841 census, so I assume the mother died beween these dates.  Anyway - I'd be very grateful if you turn anything up.

Thanks for spending time on this Terry.
I'll see where they fit in to the family when I have a bit more information.

Hi Terry,

Would you be so kind as to look up for the last name of Airdrie, Airdie, Aidrie in the Inch MIs?  I have a number of my family who were from that area.  Any Airdrie found would fit into my tree as we are a small/narrow family line.

Thanks
-Shanty

Hi Terry,

If you have the time, could you check to see if there are any BONE (excuse the pun) or BOAN in the MI's for Inch.

Thanks
