It's sometimes very difficult to get details on such recent information. Often the deaths of small children might not have appeared in the local newspaper.
Have you tried contacting the church and/or graveyard for any details in the baptismal or burial register?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Florence Sheehan died in Limerick in Barrington Hospital age 1 year. Her burial is dated June 20th 1931. She is buried in Mount St Lawrence in Limerick. The records are available online. Her burial is Latitude 280, Longitude Fc. Gerard Sheehan and Ita Dillion were married in Limerick 1929. Ita Dillion was born in 1910.
Gerard Sheehan could be the Gerard Sheehan from Ellen St Limerick. Not 100 per cent sure if it is. The Gerard Sheehan from Ellen St was my Uncle. He was married but not with his wife. I thought his wife went to USA but I only heard patchy bits as we children thought he was not married. He died 20th Jan 1961 age 55. I see that your Gerard has  C for 2nd name. That will be the deciding factor as I don't know yet if my Gerard has that C. I am going to Mount St Lawrence in a few days time and I will see if I can find the plot that Florence is buried.
There is another person looking for Ita and Gerard on IrishGenealogy.ie (it may be you)
regards
Sinead Sheehan

Hey t hank you for your reply
Yes I think it is me on the Irish genealogy I have been searching for years now and your information could be the break through I'm looking for :)
My grandfather lived at number 9 Ellen street with ita Dillon who's parents were Hannah ( possible Lardner ) and Joseph Dillon
His middle name is Christopher !
I'm hoping these are the both same person as my mum. Has been looking for info on her dad for many years now as she was only a baby when her mother remarried .
And it would mean closure for her if it is her sister who's burial you have found .

Looking forward to hearing from you

Hi Sinead
Sorry to bother you again :)
Just wondered if you did manage to get to st mount Lawrence and if you found out any details
If Gerard had another son can you remember his name and where abouts he lives in the USA (if he is Gerard's son then it's quite possible he is my mums half brother )
So if you are his niece thomas would be your dad am I correct ?
Would u have any photos at all of Gerard and his family would love to see what my grandad looks like
Did you ever meet your grandparents John and Kate do u have pictures of them ?
I
Do you have any more info on the grandparents who were there parents
Anyway please contact me on my email address which is holdamay@hotmail.co.uk
Thank you for your help :)
