Thank you Polarbear,

I have noted your comments.

Do you know if anyone does looks-ups at Kew?  That would be useful.

Bye for now,   epc

Hi again,

No, I'm sorry I don't know anyone who does look-ups at Kew. You could perhaps try a look-up query in the Common Room. Someone might be going to Kew.

Regards,
Polarbear

Hello Polarbear

I have put a loo-up request on the London board.  Will try the Common Room also.  Thanks for advice.

Its a pity that the information that I need isn't on line -it might be somewhere, but it is just finding it!

Thanks again,   epc

It is now nearly seven years since I started my search for service records for George William Warner, married 1876 aged 29 years. He was a Sergeant in the Scots Greys, 2nd Dragoons. See previous correspondence dated 9 March 2008.  I am now having another go at finding information on this gentleman.  Any advice would be very gratefully received and acted upon.  also if anyone knows of whether there is someone at Kew who would do a lookup for me, again that would be great.  All I have is his marriage certificate, daughters birth certificate and his death certificate.  He is not on any census that I can find!

Happy New Year to all,  epc
