 the 1861 census has the family in Ambleside,Josephs birth place is given as Aldingham,and he is a coachman Janets is Liverpool so you are looking at the correct family,

Thanks Gillian, I have traced them, I think all the way through to the present but I do suspect some have been lost along the way due to miss transcription of spelling, if only I could get to the area where thee records are kept I am sure I could trace them through church records as they seemed to have stayed in a round about area
Some census Janet is shown as Jessy which completely threw me
Creary is not a common surname

Hello again,you say Creary isn't a common name ,well it is to Furness,so I shall look them up for you ,if you private message me your email,I will ask for help at our family history society,then if anyone there has any information they can contact you ,but it would be February's meeting,Dalton is only small in comparison to most towns and the records should be in Barrow in Furness ,the Ambleside ones for the children will be in Kendal,so if you are thinking of coming ,take a holiday in the Lakes,

Possible baptism for their daughter Janet ,Liverpool,30Th of August 1821,

This leads me to the 1861 census for James Low and Isabella born Dundee,they are living in Kendal,Natland,Westmoreland,James is a gardener,

1851 under Law ,in Kendal with his wife Isabella,

William Creary doesnt apear before this time in the records I can access ,but he wont be to far away,
