Anyone In Isle Of Man Willing To Search BMD'S

Hi i have noticed a lot of people needing help with 20th century BMD'S if only there were a site with some listed like the BMD Project in England & Wales..

Is there anyone outhere who could perhaps help a few people who has access to these records

I am trying to find a marriage of a William J Halsall of Liverpool to a widow named Elizabeth Bridson for hubby Percy.. 1912 onwards....

and it just seems impossible unless you go to the Island yourself..

if you know the approx year buy a certificate from general Registry (see www.gov.im)  - marriages in early 20th C are on www.lawsons.ca

Hi thats just it we dont know the year the lady this man married was a widow so it could have been when he was old..

Some of the entries have been transcribed but mostly you have to wade through images of the pages but at lease it's in years and by first letter of surname.

THere are quite a lot of Isle of man records on line. I did some looking up for a cousin and I know I found all I wanted. Long time ago so why not Goog;le Isle of Man genealogy and see what comes up.

Thanks for that but as I live in the Island and have access to all the records plus a worldwide sub to Ancestry, I think I have all the access I need.   The BMD site is one that doesn't always come up when googling, etc so thought I would pass it on, just in case.
