just wondering if these are actual places names

Llangennech & Llangendeyrne

sorry if i'm being daft - but my knowledge of carmathenshire is precisely zero :-[

also is anybody else researching the names morris & davies in these areas?

yes they are both places in Carmarthenshire.

If you go to :
http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/CMN/indexpars.html

you'll find a list of all parishes in CMN, among which are Llangennech and Llangendeyrne. These will give you a lot of background info.

Sorry, got absolutely no Morris', and only 1 Davies, from Aberystwyth.
