The Vancouver Public Library now has a great collection of digitized BC Directories online. They have numerous directories from 1860 - 1901 from a variety of publishers and covering a variety of locations:

Malandain/Mallandain/Mallandaine/Malllindine - anywhere and everywhere
Corson/Causon - Gloucestershire

Stumbled across this newspaper archive, which I couldn't find recorded in the list of resources. It is a searchable archive for the Quesnal Cariboo Observer covering the towns of Quesnal, Ashcroft and Barkerville, B.C. from 1908 to 1990.
