My maiden name is Bennett and am living  in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. My Great Grandparents are Bernard and Annie Moriez. My grandmother was named Annie and her son (my dad) is named Bernard.

Very excited to stumble across this thread as we are related!!! For those who are related to Barney Moriez and Annie DeFries we are cousins!!!! My paternal grandmother (Doris Alice Louise Andrews (also related to the Steele's) and her maternal familial line de Fries and Moriez by marriage.
