Stewart Lookup- North Shields- Please

I have checked the marriage registration codes and found that the marriages of both Ellen and Jamesina took place in either non conformist or registry offices as they appear under 'W' codes.

Might these people have been Roman Catholic or other denomination than Church of England?

Seems to match for both the married name and maiden name of your Jamesina.

We aren't allowed to do look ups in the 1939 register, but a free search shows James and Jamesina (wrongly transcribed as Jawesina - reported) at 51 Oakwood Ave, plus there are another 7 people in that household whose records are closed.

Again we can't do look ups on the 1911 census, but a free search for Jamesina McGuire on the 1911 census on Family Search shows the McGuire family.

Shows her mother's maiden name was Skelly

Her Mam Bridgina, died in 1939 too, just a couple of weeks after Jamesina
