Hi,

I just realised that Mary Elizabeth is the only Tookey family member I have.  I thought I had others , but can't seem to locate them.

Never mind, the weekend is here and more time to look.

Hello Peter,

My mother's maiden name is Brown, Her mother's maiden name was Kearsey. Her Grandfathers names was Walter Kearsey, who's family home was Cliffe in Kent.... We have looked for Kearsey's from the Cliffe area. We know that 3 Kearsey brothers married 3 Tookey sisters and there is in the current family a tree that represents this .... My mother tells me that there was a sister that was adopted and brought up by a cousin and belives she married and lived in Wales ... We will find out more but look forward to hearing back from you as there is a strong possiblity that we are related in some way :o) ...

Stuart

Hello Peter,

We are trying to work out which Kearsey/Tookey branch we are connected with. I will investigate more with my mother and Aunt. Hopefully we should be able to complete your family tree but the key figures in it are the 3 kearsey brothers who married the 3 tookey sisters... i will get back to you as soon as i can ...

note: My mother's name is Kearsey- Brown ( Brown from her fathers side and Kearsey from her mothers side ) ... It is her mothers side that i will trace back to the Tookey name when it becameconnected with Kearsey.

Take care,

Stuart

Does anyone know who the parents were of  Thomas (now spelt) Casey b. 1760 m to Ann Smith b. 1760 Essex.
I have found a record for him and it has his parents Thomas Caseye and Ann.
Ann died in 1751 according to Thorpe-le-Soken parish records.
