Hi Annie

Hope you enjoy these as well. I was really pleased to get the one of the Heroes of the Engine Room with the Ark Royal in the background. We were just walking along to the Pier Head to see how the new canal link and the Museum of Liverpool Life were getting along and I turned around for another look at the Ark Royal and thought, that would make a great photo.

The other photo shows the Cunard War Memorial on the left and the newly cleaned (at least partially) Port of Liverpool Building.

I can even smell the Mersey on those !! oh my !!

I looked for Heysie on the cab stand !!  ::) ::) ::) ( didn't see him though !!  :) )

It really looks like there were plenty of people about .... lovely blue sky and everything !!
